The Challenge
MINISO’s store renovation had core construction challenges:
- Global unified minimalist brand standard: natural log wood + pure white as core color system, customized curved luminous grid facade matching mall irregular entrance structure;
- Multi-category display requirement: classified placement for cosmetics, daily necessities, textile products and small gifts, flexible adjustable shelf design to adapt frequent seasonal SKU replacement;
- Shopping mall construction limited to off-business hours to avoid disturbing surrounding shops and customer flow;
- Built-in soft ambient lighting required inside all display shelves to highlight product texture without strong light stimulation.
Our Solution
1. Custom Design Scheme
Divide store into entrance luminous image wall area, perimeter wall fixed merchandise display zone, central bulk commodity island display zone. Adopt modular grid backlit wall for store front with suspended red MINISO luminous logo; natural wood open shelving matches white metal frame island racks to realize classified zoning of diverse lifestyle products.
2. Material & Craft Specification
- Wooden Cabinet: E0-grade environmentally friendly multi-layer solid wood board with matte log grain veneer, formaldehyde-free and wear-resistant for daily frequent picking;
- Entrance Wall: Frosted light guide acrylic embedded inside aluminum grid frame, built-in backlight module for uniform soft glowing effect;
- Island Display: High-strength white spray-painted metal support frame + detachable wooden laminate, convenient for quick layout adjustment;
- Auxiliary Accessory: Thickened plastic mesh bulk storage basket for promotional discounted goods stacking.
3. Production & Delivery Plan
All display fixtures complete modular split prefabrication in factory; deliver by batches and implement staggered night installation following mall construction management specification.
